Sitting between the railway sidings for the east-coast main-line and the hubbub of Turnpike Lane, ‘Clarendon Road South’ is a key 2.2ha site within Haringey Council’s Wood Green Area Action Plan (AAP). The site is made up of a mix of poorly-defined community, employment and residential uses and the local authority identified it to be used more intensively and with the inclusion of a new primary school.
We were appointed with Haverstock Associates to develop a mixed use, employment, education, community and residential masterplan for Clarendon Road South. Our proposal addresses the borough’s forecasted shortage of primary school places as well as the creation of 80 new homes, improved light industrial employment space and community uses.
