Selma – a 6th form student from @centralfoundationboysschool just round the corner from our studio – joined us last week for her work experience through the @accessaspiration programme.

It was great to share and exchange ideas on our ongoing community/ heritage project in Lostwithiel, Cornwall and study the picturesque town centre through the colourful lens of Selma’s lovely sketches.

Access Aspiration – a Mayor’s fund – aims to address this imbalance by creating more visibility of career pathways for 16-18 year olds from low-income and underrepresented backgrounds who are making key decisions about their future but struggling to link with employers.

It was great to show officers and councillors from the planning and housing teams at @haringeycouncil around Green House yesterday.

Project Associate Claire Taggart led the visit and conversations about sustainability in house design and the replicability of the design for social housing and custom-build.

Green House won the ‘Best House’, ‘Most sustainable building’ and was the overall winner at last year’s Haringey Design Awards and we are now facilitating a number of tours and conversations.
