For the first time in 3 years, and despite a broken arm, a foot operation, the addition of a tiger, a teenager, multiple totts and Mini the sausage dog we actually had a Christmas away day at Christmas.

We started for breakfast at the heart-warming and stirling-shortlisted @seaccfulham by @maearchitects (thank you to the team for showing us around).

We then went for lunch at (well, outside in the rain) by the dark, hi-tec retail environment of Battersea Power Station (in our defence, none of us has been there, we were just intrigued).

And then on for drinks in the the @greenwichdesigndistrict – lots of conversation about how you make an architectural languages on its own terms without a pre-existing built context.

Journeyed via bus, tube and boat we all had a good day finished with dinner and drinks (until closing-time, of course…) in Greenwich.

We are really excited to be one of the 30 practices to have won a place on the new @notting_hill_genesis framework for small and specialist sites.

We’re looking forward to working with Notting Hill Genesis and their residents to create new homes and help shape communities.
